Bookings and payment
Are we required to pay a damage deposit?
We do not ask for a damage deposit for the majority of our items. However, if after your event any of the hire items are damaged beyond repair we will send an invoice to cover a replacement.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept credit or debit cards via our online payment system, or bank transfers (BACS). We can also set up a payment plan to spread the cost.
On your wedding day
Will Purple Swan set-up on the day?
Our quote includes set-up by us either the day before or the morning of your wedding, and we will liaise directly with your venue to sort this out.
We will then arrange a suitable time with you or your venue for collection to ensure a hassle-free service all round.

We cover weddings in Cumbria and Lancashire within approximately a 30 mile driving distance from Kendal, including the Lake District, Ambleside, Appleby, Barrow-in-Furness, Bowness-on-Windermere, Carlisle, Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands, Kendal, Keswick, Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Ulverston and Windermere.
