We are a venue styling company based in Kendal, Cumbria with a huge attention to detail and customer service. We know how important it is to have everything perfect for your special occasion. We are passionate about our work and pride ourselves on providing quality products with excellent customer service. Purple Swan was formed in 2009 by Carla and Francis. Trained in 'Set Design for Film, TV and Theatre', Carla had worked in the theatre and film industry for over 10 years. Having spent time in London working long hours on film sets, including 'Harry Potter' and 'Nine', she and Francis moved to the Lake District in search of a more relaxed life. Here the perfect opportunity arose to start 'Purple Swan'. Carla uses her creative flair to decorate weddings of the many people fortunate enough to get married in this beautiful part of the country. Carla also has a passion for photography, illustration and the great outdoors. Returning to his native Northern pastures, Francis has been running a successful web design company for 7 years. He has used his extensive business and marketing expertise to help promote 'Purple Swan' to the successful company that it has become, as well as tying the odd bow!
Our beautiful daughter Isla was born in May 2012 and brings us so much joy, we look forward to what 2013 will bring for our business and family life.
